The investment of the company started in the year 2012 and its operations commenced in April 2015. The company continues growing progressively. Establishment of the company has helped pastoralists to sell their livestock commercially, to easily accessible market, and prevent massive losses as a result of droughts and diseases. It has also helped pastora lists to get value for their produce by breaking livestock trading cartels and exploitative middle-men (Wachuuzi).

In September 2015, the company upgraded from local to international Exporter. We were privileged to have market in the Middle-east. The company started exporting to countries like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, etc.
In July 2017, the company expanded the chilling capacity from 1400 heads of small stock to 6000 heads. This expansion not only fortified the company's operational capabilities but also positioned it for sustained growth and increased market competitiveness. It stands as a testament to the company's commitment to innovation and adaptability in meeting the evolving needs of its clientele.
In July 2019, the company Expanded Export Market to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. This expansion not only marked a milestone in the company's growth trajectory but also underscored its commitment to diversifying its market presence. By tapping into these dynamic markets, the company aimed to leverage emerging opportunities, forge new partnerships, and capitalize on the burgeoning demand for its products and services.
In May 2020, we achieved a significant milestone in our commitment to food safety and quality standards. Building upon our existing foundation of excellence, we transitioned from holding Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification to attaining full certification by the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 version 5. This advancement represents a testament to our unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of food safety management.
In May 2021, We initiated the construction of an ultra-modern abattoir marked the inception of a transformative project aimed at revolutionizing our operations. This state-of-the-art facility, known as Phase II of the Ushirika Slaughterhouse, represents a significant leap forward in our quest for modernization and efficiency.
